ANGRY ANDERSON To Perform With SLASH At Launch Of MTV CLASSIC

April 13, 2010

According to NineMSN, ROSE TATTOO frontman Angry Anderson will reunite on stage with GUNS N' ROSES legend Slash after 18 years to perform a ROSE TATTOO hit for the launch of MTV Classic.

Anderson and Slash will come together at the pay TV event in Melbourne on April 28 to perform "Nice Boys", a song GUNS N' ROSES covered in 1988.

Slash has been a fan of the band since the early 1980s, and ROSE TATTOO supported GUNS N' ROSES on the Australian leg of their "Use Your Illusion" tour.

"Angry and I go way back to when GN'R toured with ROSE TATTOO in Australia back in 1992 — and had some great times — so when MTV asked me who I wanted to perform with at the launch of MTV Classic, I immediately thought of Angry," Slash said.

Anderson said he was looking forward to rocking out with the music icon.

"It's a beautiful thing when you get an opportunity to jam with an artist who has made such a global impact on rock music in your hometown," he said.
